After graduating law school in 2000, I chose Augusta as my home. I joined the Office of the Solicitor General, prosecuting DUIs, shoplifting, and domestic violence cases in the State Court of Richmond County. I left the Solicitor's Office in 2005 to become an Assistant Public Defender, serving as Lead Counsel in numerous jury trials, earning acquittals in cases involving aggravated assault, rape, and home invasion. Prior to entering private practice and establishing my own law office, I served as the Chief Appellate Lawyer for the District Attorney of the Augusta Judicial Circuit, arguing hundreds of cases before the Superior Court, Court of Appeals, and Supreme Court of Georgia.
